I don’t beat the way it used to

In ultima vreme a inceput sa-mi placa mult muzica celor de la The Killers. E un synth rock care suna destul de bine, desi ar putea sa lucreze o idee mai inovativ cu sintetizatoarele alea.

Citind pe eterna si fascinanta wikipedia, am mai aflat ca “the band members are also avowed fans of New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Morrissey, U2, and The Beatles”. Nu e rau deloc.

Videoclipul asta mi-a amintit de unul de la Muse, pe care o sa-l pun mai incolo. Puteau face o treaba mai buna cu el, dar melodia e excelenta.

Imi place bass-ul Fender la care canta Flowers, dar cineva din trupa aia are neaparata nevoie de un Telecaster care sa cante o idee mai ascutit si sa mearga bine cu sintetizatoarele. In fine… asteptam urmatorul album.

  1. luni mi-am luat albumul lor, ieri pierdusem deja numaratoarea la repeat-urile date pt “For reasons unknown”, “Read my mind” si “Bones”, azi…ii gasesc recomandati “constructiv” la voi!
    remarca din booklet-ul jumulit al cd-ului (cred ca in Ro. ceea ce face pretul unui cd 29,9 sau 59,9lei e minimalizarea carticelei):

  2. Ma bucur ca-ti place.
    Din partea mea pot sa nu puna deloc carticica aia in CD, pentru ca nu ma intereseaza. Si oricum, 59 de lei e un pret prea mare pentru un CD. Chiar si 29,9 e cam mult pentru gustul meu, dar ce sa-i faci…
